Lil’ Angels KDO Staff

Our Staff

Director – Jenn Reynolds

Jennifer Reynolds has been with KDO for 3 years and is ready for a new, fun, and educational year at Lil’ Angels Kids’ Day Out! Mrs. Jenn has been married for 17 years and they have two talented and creative daughters. Her family loves reading books, playing board and card games together, and being with extended family.

Involvement in the community is of great importance to Mrs. Jenn. She has volunteered for many years with her church’s children’s group, and has served in several local non-profit board positions. She loves that her work with KDO gives her another opportunity to minister to families in Little Elm on behalf of Button Memorial UMC. Mrs. Jenn has a bachelors and masters in Education. She is a certified teacher and has taught preschool through 5th grade. She feels blessed to be a small part of the journey as young children grow, learn, and become closer to God!

3s Class Teacher – Kayla Robinson

Kayla Robinson is excited to join us for her first year at KDO! Over the past 12 years she has served in many different positions in the children’s ministry at her church. She has 3 beautiful, active kids, one of which will be joining the 2 year old class. Kayla got her associates degree in business management and her nutrition certificate from Cornell University. If you can’t find Kayla cheering at her kids’ baseball games, then she’ll usually be in the kitchen cooking, at a kickboxing class, or off-roading with the family in their Jeep. Kayla can’t wait to be a part of your child’s preschool adventure!

4s Class Teacher – Tia Cragun

Tia Cragun is excited to be continuing as the 4s teacher this year! She has a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and has taught 1st grade, preschool, and has worked the last 7 years for Frisco ISD as a Para-educator and substitute teacher in elementary special education!

She has been married to her best friend for 26 years and they have 4 beautiful children. As a family they enjoy playing games, boating, and watching sporting events. She also keeps busy by serving in her church as the president of the youth program for girls ages 11-17.  Any spare time is spent being her kids biggest cheerleader, listening to podcasts, and planning her next travel adventure! She is looking forward to a wonderful year of learning, growing, and fun with your amazing kiddos!

Music & Movement Teacher – Sereen Heath

Mrs. Sereen is excited to start this new adventure as the music and movement teacher at Button KDO! She has always loved music and has been playing piano and singing in various groups and settings since 8 years old. She taught music classes to young children for 4 years before taking a short break for her family. She is excited to get back to seeing the joy and development that comes through music and moving our bodies.

Mrs. Sereen has been married 12 years and has 4 children who share in her love of music and will tell everyone that no one cooks or bakes better than Mom and Dad. Other things she loves to do include running, being outdoors, baking, listening to audio books, and going on adventures with her family and friends.

Substitute – Melanie Stanford

One of our wonderful substitutes, Melanie Stanford, taught our 3s class last year! We are so grateful she has agreed to fill in, as needed, this year until she finds her dream job with more hours. She moved to Little Elm four years ago. She has previously lived in California, Utah, Idaho, Virginia, and Colorado, where she met her husband Shawn. Melanie and Shawn have two bright and energetic young daughters and together they love camping, kayaking and exploring their new-ish state. Mrs. Melanie has an endless appetite for travel, loves cooking for friends and family, and can often be found singing at the piano or snuggled up with a good book.
Mrs. Melanie has a B.S. in Social Studies Teaching and a Masters of Public Administration. She was previously a high school history teacher and worked for the Air Force doing financial analysis, but more recently has taught her daughter’s preschool classes. Mrs. Melanie has a love of education, children, and worship and is so excited to combine those here!

The staff wishes the Lil’ Angels at Button’s KDO an exciting year of exploration, imagination, friendship, and worship!
