No, we aren't named for buttons on clothes, but we do have an interesting story. In fact, we have our own historical marker. Learn more about Button United Methodist Church, our humble beginnings, and where we are today.

The Bible calls us to care for those who may be unable to speak up for themselves. We understand the journey endures for individuals and family caregivers serving through foster, adoption, kinship, and elder care. We strive to be a trauma-informed church.

COMMUNITY HELP

Jesus led by example by feeding 5,000. Every month, Button's Feed My Sheep Food Pantry provides food and other essentials to as many as 225 people. No one should experience food poverty. Find out how you can help or receive help.

OVER HERE LOVING LIKE JESUS IN LITTLE ELM

Call us minimalists. No flashing lights. We're a mix of real, raw, what you see is what you get, a pinch of old school, and some nice, welcoming people. We just love Jesus and that's really the whole sales pitch.

We're not trying to sell anything other than one-way tickets to eternity in heaven. The alternative is way too hot, and everyone in North Texas should get that better than anyone. Except maybe the people in Houston. It's hotter there, sometimes.

Join us for worship and to help people in need. Visiting Button is kind of like visiting your grandma's house or Cracker Barrel, minus crocheted blankets, glass figurines, and biscuits and gravy. We hope you find our environment full of warmth, smiles, and comfort.
